The Goddess passed on this great technique that she found in Sew News Magazine.
What you need:
- A Serger
- Woolly Nylon Thread
- Good Quality Pantyhose (with a neat, sharp, easy to see crease)
Thread the serger with the woolly nylon thread. I would suggest using a brand new pair of top needles. No reason to ruin a brand new pair of hose by snagging them with a dull or nicked needle. You could use black or any color you choose. You could even match the color of the thread to the color of your outfit. How kewl is that????
Lift or take off the serger’s cutting blade.
Aggressively stretch as you serge along the back crease from the bottom of the heel to well into the panty section. Leaving a long thread *tail* at the bottom of the heel and well into the panty section will prevent raveling.
